Prash 'Engine-Earz' Mistry is a multiple Grammy-nominated, 2 x Diamond-certified Mixing & Mastering engineer / music producer based at Tileyard, London, where he set up the first active Dolby ATMOS studio. There with his team he offers an end-to-end stereo mixing, mastering & ATMOS service for a wide array of International & UK artists.
Although known as in-house mix & mastering engineer with Jorja Smith & her label, FAMM, with whom he proudly shares the 2018 Mercury / BRIT / Ivor-Novello nominations for her gold debut album “Lost & Found” & Platinum single 'Be Honest' ft. Burna Boy; Prash is also recognised as Billboard No.1 mixer/mastering engineer for Kali Uchis platinum 1st Latin album 'Sin Miedo' which features Global smash 'Telepatia'; which received the Grammy nomination in 2021. ‘Telepatia’ flew past 1 Billion streams on Spotify alone and sold millions of copies worldwide.
After the success of Kali Uchis' "Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios)“ album, Mistry was brought on to Mix, Master & ATMOS Mix her new "Red Moon in Venus" album which debuted at No. 4 in the US Album charts to huge critical acclaim. The single “Moonlight” is soon to also join the Billions club on Spotify. That same year, Mistry was nominated for his 2nd Mercury nomination as Mix & Mastering engineer, for Berwyn's critically acclaimed "MIXTAPE:VEGA". In 2024, Mistry returned again to mix Kali Uchis & Rauw Alejandro’s “No Hay Lay Parte 2” and Atmos mix Kali Uchis albums “ORQUIDEAS” & “Isolation”.
This same year Interscope requested Mistry and his team to mix the highly anticipated, multiple Grammy-nominated “GUTS” album by Olivia Rodrigo and the extended “GUTS (SPILLED)” into Dolby Atmos, Spatial Audio and oversee the Sony 360 mixes, which shot to No.1 around the world with both the album and single “Vampire”.
Amongst his other close collaborators is Liam Howlett, having mastered the Prodigy's latest UK Number 1 album 'No Tourists' and following releases. He recently won a Swedish Grammy for his work on Ane Brun's "After the Great Storm" album, and 2023 Norwegian Grammy & Mercury equivalent (Spellmann & MusikforLegger Prizzen) for his work with Ary.
In 2018 he was nominated for the Grammy for 'Best Immersive Audio' as a surround producer/mixer for his own artist album 'Symbol' (Circus Records). So as the Dolby ATMOS format for music was launched, it was a natural progression for Mistry to make waves in this space, opening 2 ATMOS-enabled studios and working on hundreds of records a year - This includes the first UK No. 1 of 2023 with Raye's incredible 'Escapsim from her debut album "21st Century Blues". Other ATMOS clients include Olivia Rodrigo, DJ Snake, Megan Thee Stallion, Amaraae, Lil Huddy, Ed Sheeran, LISA. Russ Millions & 5 Seconds of Summer.
Another No. 1 followed shortly after with the new album from Enter Shikari “A Kiss for the Whole World” as well as another Grammy nod for High Contrast’s Drum n Bass Remix of Jorja Smith’s ‘The One’.
Supporting new talent has always been at the core of Engine-Earz mission in music, having worked with many artists from early in their musical journeys.
He was brought on to help bring together d4vd’s multi-billion streaming debut EP “Petals to Thorns” on Dark Room / Interscope on mixing, mastering and Atmos-mixing duties.
